There seems to be some misunderstanding in regards to the situations in which freezer spells are good to use. Employ a freezer spell when:
- You don’t want a situation to change
- You want to block someone’s movement or progress
- You want to shut someone up (gossips or court case accusers)
- You want to freeze someone out of a situation, relationship, or job (put them out in the cold)
- You want to block interference in you business
- You want to freeze out the competition
Now, here’s where a bit of subtle difference comes in. Say, for instance, you have a meddling family member. You don’t want the things they do and say to impact you or your family, but they just keep hanging around and stirring the pot, and sponging off of everybody, and generally just being a miserable so-and-so. Now, you don’t necessarily mean this person any ill will, so hot footing should be out of the question, but you would like to restrict their ability to cause trouble, so perhaps a freezer spell might be the ticket.
Well, in this instance, them being family and all, I think not. Why? Because you may be able to freeze them and stop them, but it also freezes them in place and keeps them from doing other things—good things—like moving away, or doing better for themselves, or paying back all of that money they borrowed, or being a contributing member of the family and society. Family is family. I have family members who have done much better than me and others who have not, but whether or not they have done better or poorer, I still want them to have good lives and that is what our Ancestors would want as well. So, as long as they haven’t hurt my kids or mistreated my dog, I’m going to hope the best for them and not do any work to tear them down or keep them down.
So, I’m saying, a freezer spell, in this instance, is out of the question. But what would I do instead? Well, if I were convinced that they just can’t do anything but cause trouble, I might do a moving candle spell to move them away.
